The room was larger than expected and had plenty of space for our suitcases, a big plus. The bathroom was well equipped and the shower was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially during check-in and check-out. They even stored our suitcases for a couple of hours on our last day and provided information on train platforms for our trip to the airport. The hotel's location was also a key highlight, conveniently located near a train station.

There were a couple of downsides. First, the rooms facing the main street were quite noisy, and there didn't seem to be double glazing to block out the sound.

I had a wonderful stay here. This place is conveniently located within walking distance to everything in the CBD, including the cruise terminal, and extremely close to the train station. The service from the bell staff, housekeeping, and room service was prompt and efficient, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. The room amenities were excellent, including the balcony, sitting area, and free Wi-Fi. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were great places to relax after a busy day exploring the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central location with excellent service and amenities.

The hotel is conveniently located near to public transport, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff provide excellent service. The breakfast is varied and plentiful, with eggs cooked to order for a personal touch.

Some rooms have impractical light switches and can feel claustrophobic, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect, being close to almost all of the tourist destinations in the city. It was just a short walk to Wynyard train station, making it convenient for exploring the city. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was nice, with a good shower. The staff provided helpful service, and there was a breakfast option available.

The breakfast was quite expensive, especially considering there was a cafe across the road and a Starbucks on the corner.

Absolutely nothing.

I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel in the heart of the city and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The location couldn't have been better as it was just a stone's throw away from Wynyard train station. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and visiting attractions. Additionally, there were plenty of shops, restaurants, and coffee shops surrounding the hotel, making it easy to find everything I needed.

Although the facilities at the hotel were satisfactory, they could have been improved. I felt that for the price I paid, there could have been more amenities available.

The location of Mercure was excellent for exploring downtown Sydney. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I highly recommend this hotel.
